HTML[]
HTML (HyperText Markup Language) is the standard markup language that is used to create web pages. Created in 1993, HTML designs the web page semantically for the appearance of the document on the World Wide Web. Using JavaScript and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) it builds a structured web page. HTML elements are used as building blocks for the web page, while also throwing in images, videos and other inter active forms.
Early days[]
In 1990, Tim Berners-Lee presented HTML and wrote the software. The first public release of HTML was released in 1991 called "HTML Tags" a very small sample of what HTML is today.

How it runs[]
HTML documents are mostly delivered by HTTP (HyperText Transfer Protocol) from a server or through email.HTTP helps add images, sounds, Gifs, and etc. Meta type shows the web browser how to handle the content. The document is created by a user and through software is uploaded to a server which sends it to the web. Anyone can edit a web page but putting it back on line for everyone else to see is only done by people who have access to the server.
